Structure: Citrine has the same chemical structure as clear quartz. Quartz is a chemical compound consisting of one part silicon and two parts oxygen. It is silicon dioxide (SiO2).
Citrine is a powerful cleanser and regenerator. Carrying the power of the sun, this is an exceedingly beneficial stone. It absorbs, transmutes, dissipates, and grounds negative energy, that’s why it’s very protective for the environment. It energizes every level of life and has the ability to cleanse all chakras, especially the solar plexus and navel chakras.
Citrine raises self-esteem and self-confidence, self-expression, motivation, creativity, and removes destructive tendencies. Using Citrine helps us to value ourselves for who we are rather than what we do or own. It enhances concentration and revitalizes the mind. It’s excellent for overcoming depression, fears, and phobias. Promotes inner calm so that wisdom can emerge – this way it awakens the higher mind. It’s a useful crystal for shooting group or family discord. It has the power to impart joy to all who behold it.
Citrine is an excellent crystal for energizing and recharging, it stimulates digestion, the spleen, and the pancreas. It negates infections in the kidney and bladder, helps with eye problems, increases blood circulation, detoxifies the blood, activates the thymus, and balances the thyroid and hormones. It removes cellulite. As an elixir it’s helpful for menstrual problems and menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, balancing the hormones, and alleviating fatigue.
Citrine is one of the stones of abundance. It teaches how to manifest and attract wealth in prosperity and success. Manifestation is the second part of the process of co-creation. The first part is the creation of an energetic framework or blueprint, which outlines what we wish to create. We create this blueprint every moment through the words we speak, the ideas we hold in our minds, and the action and choices that we make in our beliefs and ideas. We can only manifest what we have created on an energetic level. Citrine strengthens the resonant field of our second and third chakras, clearing blockages form our energy systems. When they have been cleared, we’re able to create pure energetic blueprints for our reality.
